If you aren't familiar with "Daniel's Timeline" as presented by Dewey Bruton, I highly recommend watching the series Here.

It is very well done and thought provoking.

The main problem is that you believe in the "rapture" not Dewey Brutons timeline. The weeds are going to be plucked up and thrown into the fire. If thats how you prefer to be "caught away" have at it.

  2. Kingdom Studies On December 16, 2009 at 12:18 AM

Thank you "anonymous" for a completely worthless comment, devoid of any edification.

While the "Rapture" may not take place as seen in famous "Christian movies", it nonetheless does take place and is rooted in scripture.

If you have a good teaching on the how and why behind it not being possible or not being in scripture, please feel free to share that with us.

I would ask however, that you do not copy and paste from Arnold Murray, as we have rehashed that nonsense before.

The book of Daniel says, "from the going forth of the commandment until Messiah is seventy weeks." Dewey said in the series that Daniel said seventy years; therefore, 2017 is the deadline. The problem is that seventy weeks is not the same as seventy years. Seventy weeks is 490 years, is it not?

If I'm missing something, please let me know. Dewey's video is compelling, but this one point seems to be a flaw in the "2017" theory.

  4. Kingdom Studies On January 12, 2010 at 1:22 AM

    Hi Chuck,
Dewey explained that he believes in multiple fulfillments of Prophecy. (As do I).

Yes, the 490 years is one of those fulfillments, but his interpretation is that the word "Weeks" here is the Hebrew word "Shabua", which can refer to "Shavuot" which is "The Feast of Weeks" or "Pentecost".

Since Pentecost takes place once per year, this would refer to 70 Pentecosts, or 70 years from the commandment (November 1947) until Christs return.

You can see more details on the definition here:

If you finish watching Michael Rood's 'The Jonah Code' you will see how he has worked out the corrected Jewish calendar. There is also a video series on 'The Astronomically and Agriculturally Corrected Jewish Calendar' which makes corrections for alterations to the Jewish calendar by the Sanhedren when the Diaspora began. They totally took out about 269 years and changed from using the renewed moon and Aviv barlyey outside of Jerusalem to discover the beginning of a year to using mathematical formulas.

I want to thank Duey Bruton for his dedication and many hours of putting together Daniel’s timeline! I’ve been in the church for many years and finally at the age of 49 yrs my eyes are opened to the truth of God’s word. Our God is “The God/The Father” of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Please people you need to look beyond the churches theology (what man has taught the people) and open up the Torah (what God will teach the people for all generations/that includes us today!). The Torah is the first 5 books of the Bible. Those of you in the church have so much to learn and you won't be taught the Torah in ANY church today. When you start asking questions about what you learn in the Torah in a church, and ask why these things mentioned in the Torah aren’t taught today, you will get kicked out. Be prepared for a life-changing event once you begin to study the Torah. First PRAY that God will open your heart, your eyes and your mind to find the truth of His word. Be open to what you will hear and learn, THEN make your own decision to what you believe. It will help you too, to find a Messianic Torah observant teacher. There are many of these teachers in our country and you can find them all on-line. Bill Cloud, Brad Scott, Jim Staley, Rico Cortez, Eddie Chumney, Monte Judah, and Michael Rood ….to name a few. Your eyes will be opened and you will be so glad you finally see the light/truth of God’s word. We are the last generation. You will understand Duey's timeline, after you learn the Torah and how all these things he shares with you fall into Yeshua's/Jesus's plan. You will then understand Duey's timeline so much better and begin to prepare yourself, your heart and others for what is to come. NOW is the time to ask questions and learn. Turning away from your old ways and begin living life as Yeshua commanded.
Blessing to those of you who have ears to hear and will listen.

Shalom and blessings in the name of Yeshua ha-Mashiach. Dewey Bruton has done well to explain the timeline of Daniel with a Hebrew mindset. The problem with so many end-time teachers in the past is that they've never understood the biblical feasts "moedim" appointed times. Dewey has put a lot of work into his study, and praise the Lord he uses Yeshua as opposed to Jesus. One question: When did the 70th week begin? could it have been during the September 24th-25th G20 Pittsburgh summit in 2009? If so what was the treaty "agreement" for 1 week of years "shavuah echad"
Blessings in Yeshua. Kobi from UK

I agree with Dewey and his timeline for the most part, but I believe he has a few errors and please correct me if I am mistaken.

Error #1 if the 7 year period starts in 2010 how can march 2013 be 3 1/2 years in? 2010-11 1 year 11-12 2 years 12-13 3 years and the 1/2 would make it be in July of 2013.

Correction: I belive you need to go off of the jewish calender which means september feast of trumpets of 2010 would be the start of the 7 year period. In that case the 3 1/2 time would be in march of 2014 not 2013. Again correct me if im wrong.

Error #2 Can you just use weeks interchangably. You use it as years in calculation of the 70 years stating them as shabuwas and then you use it as 7 years (a week) for the peace contract. I just question how do you know which way God means it to be used.

  9. Kingdom Studies On June 6, 2010 at 6:48 PM

    Ben,
In response to "Error #1", Dewey believes that the 70th week does not consist of 7 full years, but only 2300 days.

And Error #2 - We can't say with 100% certainty at this point.
The original Hebrew means "a set of seven".
I guess we'll have to wait and see if Dewey's interpretation is correct.

    Regarding the Rapture:

If you read all of the direct scriptures that are said to be talking about the rapture you will find that none of them say we will be removed off this planet, out of harms way, and be taken to Heaven. If you read the scripture for what it actually says you will find that the greek word from which we get the rapture is referring to when the bodies of the Saints will be changed into the glorified bodies they will have for eternity. The scripture makes it abudantely clear in many places that the evil will be removed and the righteous will never be removed. The evil people on earth will be wiped out and the Saints will remain.

    Shalom,

    Don

Here is what it all boils down to. Our God is merciful and loving. He does not unnecessarily complicate things. We read in Romans 10. 9, 10, and 13, that if we confess with our mouth, words, that Jesus is the Son of God, and believe in our hearts that God raised him from the dead, and call on God to save us according to those terms,
    We,
    Will,
    Be,
    Saved.
Is it well with your soul?

I respect this man's time and effort into this study. But I find it to be false teaching. As with many other End Time 'experts', the biggest flaw I find is trying to set dates of future events. The Bible clearly states that it is not for us to know when these things will come about. The Bible also says we are to be like minded and stuff like this brings about arguments, finger pointing, arrogance, and needless bickering

  14. Kingdom Studies On September 6, 2010 at 7:31 AM

I'm sorry, but I must respectfully disagree.

The bible certainly says no such thing.

Regardless of whether or not Mr. Bruton's study is correct; It doesn't change the fact that scripture never teaches that we cannot study to learn of future events.

It teaches quite the opposite actually.

The timeline that begin the 7 year covenant may well have begun in 2007on Jan 1st. It is commonly agreed that the EU is the modernday Roman Empire. In 2007 Jovier Solana, who could easily be the prince of the EU (the people who destroyed the temple), confimed a covenant or agreement with many Mid East nations for the following 7 years. It was not a peace treaty, however there is no scripture that says it should be. The agreement in mention was not drawn up at that time. It was a actually a series of agreements made at different times with each particular country. It was going to cost a lot of money and therefore needed to be included in the budget. The EU budget has a 7 year term and came up for renual on Jan 1 2007. Solana simply and scriptually confirmed the covenant on that date. It therefore exactly fits the covenant in Daniel 9/27.
The abomination was not set up in July of this year, however, the word midst may not mean exaclty middle. Midst could simply mean somewhere within the 7 years as a man may be found in the midst of a crould yet not at the middle. There is no reason to believe that the final 3 1/2 years needs to begin or end on the last day of the 7 year covenant to my knowledge. It could begin on the 5th or 6th year and still fulfill scripture. We have all been taught that the Lord returns right at the end of the seven years, but scripture doesn't say so.
    Watch and pray.

Hi, I was just recently introduced to Daniel's Timeline. It is very interesting how all the dates and numbers match up. I have always believed that no man knows the day or hour of His return but lately I am wondering. After watching Dewey's presentation I was reading Revelation and came across something I never really noticed before. Jesus says to the church in Sardis, "If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee." Is it possible that the opposite is also true? That if we will watch, we will know what hour our master is coming and that this day will not overtake us as a thief? Just curious your thoughts on this. Also, my one question about the Timeline is now that it is 2011, according to Dewey's calculations we are one year into the tribulation, correct? I always understood the great tribulation to be a time unlike earth has ever seen but here in the US things seem to be pretty normal. I'd appreciate hearing your thoughts on this. Thanks!

I would suggest reading some of the older posts on my blog & also read the study that I did (Top of page Free Ebook).

    I actually answer those questions.

Of the final 7 years mentioned in the bible, only the last 3 1/2 years are called "Great Tribulation".

And yes, if we watch, we WILL know.

God Bless you on your journey as you dig deeper in His Word!

What do you believe the doctrine of Christ is? [II John 1:9]

  22. Kingdom Studies On May 5, 2011 at 11:55 PM

The doctrine (didache) of Christ is the teachings of Christ. I'm not sure I understand what you're asking beyond that, or what it has to do with Brutons' teaching.

  23. Cori Ann On May 21, 2011 at 12:38 PM

There is so much about the Tribulation and the Lord warns we should be prepared. Are you taking steps in preparation for the latter 3 1/2 years? There is so much information to sift through, I do not see on your site what we, as Christians, should be doing in preparation for refusing the Mark of the Beast.

  24. Kingdom Studies On May 21, 2011 at 1:27 PM

    Hi Cori Ann,
I believe it would be responsible living to keep a few weeks of extra food available for any emergency.

As far as preparing for the entire 3 1/2 years, I believe we will be led and cared for by God at that time.

Some people are storing years worth of food, but personally I believe that the times of trial match perfectly with the plagues of Egypt.

During that time, God's people were both protected, and cared for by the Lord Himself.

  25. Cori Ann On May 21, 2011 at 4:59 PM

Then why know the time of God's return if we have no need to be prepared? (Outside of a sense of urgency for salvation)

  26. Kingdom Studies On May 22, 2011 at 12:05 AM

Notice I didn't say NO preparation.

There may be a time when things are scarce, or not available at all anymore. There may be a period of time it would be best to stay close to home.

Fact is, scripture doesn't give us a detailed "Play by play" of exactly what is going to take place.

I believe spiritual preparation should be priority one. Understanding what information HAS been given to us is key.

I believe scripture plainly teaches that we will be gathered after the final 3 1/2 years. It also teaches that there will be false christs and false prophets that will lead many astray.

Realizing what scripture teaches and knowing that the miracle worker who is to come (that claims to be God) is a liar could save lives.

I'm not going to downplay preparation.
Some feel led to make vast preparations, and it's possible that the Lord will lead each of His own in different directions.

The best I can offer is for you to seek Him and see where he leads you personally.

I'm not sure why some folks think there's a 7 year tribulation period, show me in scripture a 7 year period? I've studied Daniels timeline and seen Mr.Brutons video, Yeshua (Jesus) himself uses Daniels prophecy as a sign of the end. And week or Shabua , shavuot, is a Pentacost, here's an eye opener for you to really think hard on.. In 2014 and 2015 their will be blood moons at both Passover time and at Tabernacles, 2 years in a row, this is amazing, so Mr. Brutons calculations are fairly accurate, I think that he may be off a year, because of the 30 day cushion, I belive this is the 30 days that will be added to the Jewish calendar in 2014 since Daniel spoke of a 1290 days and Revalations has 1260 days, but the length of the tribulation is 1260 days which would mean subtracting those 30 days from the 1335, or 1305 days, I haven't actually done the math yet, but nonetheless Jesus did say, "and if those days weren't shortened, no flesh would be left", not an actuall quote but close enough to get the point across. Thanks for reading and KEEP WATCH.

  28. Anonymous On September 20, 2011 at 12:40 PM

Hi, I've seen Mr. Brutons video and it's a great teaching tool, whether or not it's accurate is another thing, but to get to the point, as most know God appointed these feasts to remain forever, in 2014 and 2015 their will be 2 blood moons each year, each one at the time of Passover and at the time of Tabernacles, 2 years in a row, coincindence? I don't think so. Now about the 30 day "cushion" Dewey was speaking about I want to throw out an idea, this "extra" 30 days or 30 day warning, may just be a time when the Jewish calendar will have that extra month that is added each 3 years, this would account for the extra 30 days, which happens in 2014, so if this is true then according to Deweys calculations the tribulation will begin early in 2014, since Daniel gives a 1290 day period and Revelation gives us a 1260 day period, this would account for the extra 30 days, I haven't sat down yet and done the math yet but according to the 120 Jubilee period the 6000th year will occur in 2017. Just a thought.

I think we must be ready!!! The fact of the matter is rapture or not, we must live each day as if the Lord is coming today. I also believe that we should be able to discern the times that we living in and keep our eyes wide open. Time is close and i cant waite for this life to end so that we can spend our lives with our God and our King for ever and ever. Just cant wait!!

  30. Today could be the day On February 21, 2012 at 3:51 AM

Since my life has changed and since i decided to follow Jesus i have learned that we should focus on Jesus and not on man. I have also realised that man can make mistakes, believers make mistakes and nobody is perfect. Nobody knows everything and just because a believer makes a certain error, it does not make him a false believer or a fraud. We must be very careful to judge and point fingers at one another. Obviously their are false prophets and false teachers but if we are realy born again and focus on Jesus and walk with Him we will be safe and in good hands.

  31. Anonymous On March 4, 2012 at 11:41 PM

Very eye-opening video by Mr. Bruton, and very believable. The only question I have is concerning the confirmation of the covenant. I always thought the anti-christ would confirm the covenant with many for a 7 year period, but we wouldn't know who he was at that time, as he is only revealed as he stands on the rebuilt temple mount to take away the daily sacrifice and setup the abomination of desolation (II Thes 2:2-4). But when he confirms the covenant, shouldn't we also see the borders of Israel confirmed, along with the status of Jerusalem (which of the various groups will control which various parts of the city), and of the temple mount sharing arrangement which finally allows the rebuilding of the third temple? It seems in order for that to have happened, according to Dewey's timeline, we would have needed to see this peace treaty setup at the beginning of the final 7 years, sometimes at the beginning of 2010. And I don't see that has happened to date, as the Israeli's and the Palestinians are having trouble getting the discussions going again.

Regardless of this question I have, I am highly recommending this video to all.

Thanks to Mr. Bruton for a job well done.

    Blessings,

    Val

Did it escape Antibes attention that 7yr treaty was signed in 2010 by BHO with Russia? If you read the treaty and after you will see that many other nations also signed the treaty. It's now exactly 1yr to the day from the date marked by Dewey B. Look around in the USA and clearly preparations by our gov't for mass control are taking place. Also if you read the other articles by Dewey on the site you will see that he does advise that we should be prepared. Better safe than sorry right? I, for one, plan on being no where near the USA during this date! May the Lord bless as we keep watch!

It is interesting to read the comments of ones who "know Jesus" but who do not understand that He was a Jew. They likely do not understand the purpose of the appointed times and are going to be caught unaware, like the virgins with no oil in their lamps. The Ruach is moving, people, wake up!

It was mentioned about that Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize on 09/09/2009 (comment #10), but from the Nobel Peace Prize website the date of announcement was Oct 9, 2009.

I also find it interesting the 6 months later, on April 8, 2010, Obama signed the New START treat with Russia. I'm not sure what this all means but I thought I would throw it out there for comment.

Hello all, I too listened to Dewey Bruton's Daniels Timeline and was greatly blessed. I was left with so much gratitude for Bruton's research and study, which I knew to be true because of what the Holy Spirit was revealing to me as well regarding the very topics Bruton covered so thoroughly! Now, I'm so eager to learn more and share this interesting and exciting study, with others.

If possible can anyone reading this direct me to a reliable contact for Mr. Bruton? I would like to contact him for permission to use his material in a local church presentation. I tried emailing from contact link provided on this website http://www.danielstimeline.com/home.htm, but it kept giving me an error message for the last 3 days. Also does anyone know what church (faith/religion) he's affiliated with?

Thank you and may God bless you as you pursue after His way!

I just watched the video on Daniel's Timeline last week. I had my bf watch it when he got home. We have both been believers for over couple decades & have studied Daniel in years past & Rev. Neither of us have seen a study like this & found it to be very interesting & eye opening to say the least! Thank you for all the time and energy for putting it together and your dedication to the Lord in spreading the message of His coming return.

My Daughter got involved a yr ago in the Messianic movement. She was trying to tell me we were in the rapture now & I thought maybe she was getting involved in a cult group, which actually some of the leaders were.
Question I have is do you recommend any curtain sites to get survival packs & food etc? My bf has a great job but I have been on unemployment for several months & money is tight. I feel strongly believers should prepare & from the study of your timeline I feel I am almost out of time......March 20-21 I feel will tell a lot.

Well, once again the date setters have been proven wrong. Today is March 22nd, 2013, a date that was significant on your timeline. You (Dewey) predicted that today was to be an absolutely monumental day concerning Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy. You said the Jews would be fleeing Israel today and the final 1260 days (the Great Tribulation) would begin. When will you guys learn? This is why I truly hate date setters. The unbelieving world is watching Christians and they see you guys making predictions like this. What do you think they see when they see you guys trying to place a date on God's prophetic timeline? Why can't you guys just read your Bibles literally instead of trying to allegorize scripture in order to get it to fit your interpretation of it instead of altering your interpretation to fit scripture? What part of "no man knows the hour" didn't you understand? You sir, have lost all credibility among those of us that study eschatology. You, and the many like you, have just become the next Harrold Campings of the Christian world. Do you plan to make a youtube video apologizing for your date setting heresy? Might I suggest getting out of the eschatology business, it doesn't seem to be your bag.

I watched the video and I honestly believe it. My concern is, as a christian how are we to react to what will be coming. I do not believe a rapture will take place. Im not a hundred percent sure it won't but the more I read into it the more I believe god's people will also be here to go through the tribulation. Which judging by what is happening does not seem to far off from where I am sitting. With the mark of the beast and everything to come I would like to know if as christians we are suppose to fight, lay down and wait, or hide it out? Whats up with all that?

Jay, your ignorance of the video and of what scripture teaches is overwhelming.

I am not Mr. Bruton. I posted a link to his video about 4 years ago.

You come here claiming you hate "date setters", (which is telling in itself) when Mr. Bruton's teaching never did such a thing.

What he DID state is that IF his interpretation of Daniel 9 is correct, the timeline he offered in the video would most likely be followed.

You also ask "What part of "No man knows the hour" didn't you understand"?

I would have to ask the same of you. What is that verse referencing?
It certainly isn't the time of His return; Especially when scripture tells us multiple times to watch so that we WILL know when His return will take place.

Your spiteful and resentful attitude which stems from ignorance on your part will not be permitted in future comments.

Well, it's April 20th, 2013. The only significant events on March 20 - 22nd was North Korea's Kim Jung-un's threats of thermal nuclear war, and the European Central Bank's confiscation of Cyprus's banking systems.
Obama's visit to Israel was no big event in comparison.

May I get clarification from others who have seen Daniel's timeline:
If 70 weeks are 70 years, (1 week is 1 year), then how does the last (one) week of tribulation = 7 years?

Well... I remember the meteor that hit Russia took place on March 22, 2013, exactly. And I believe it was a sign from heaven. God said there would be signs in the last days. I believe the meteor was a mark of the beginning of something within the Kingdom of God. And to think it hit in Russia!? Hmmm... the Bible says to watch and pray... Read Hebrews 3:15-19 and pray for those you love, those that do not know the Lord Jesus, and move on His Word, so that they too, will be at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb!

Also, I have a question... Isn't there suppose to be sacrifices resumed at the Temple before the Abomination of Desolation... does scripture say how many days those sacrifices take place before they are no longer allowed and the first 3 1/2 years are up?

  53. Kingdom Studies On May 16, 2013 at 11:51 AM

Tammy, there are some who believe that the temple will be rebuilt and sacrifices reinstated. Others believe the temple does not necessarily need to be rebuilt, but sacrifices can take place where the temple once stood.
Others believe that this is referencing the temple of our bodies and sacrificing our praise to God. (1 Cor.3:17)
And there are those who believe that Daniel 9 has nothing to do with the last days at all.

I would encourage you to study it for yourself and perhaps read commentaries or listen to sermons on the subject.

There are many differing views on the last days and how things will take place

well there are pics(images) of obama "standing" in the Holy place in Israel on march 22 2013. Also its reported that the passover sacrafice was cancelled by the health dept due to his visit. consider his promises of peace and the fact that he was given a nobel prize in 2009 for his promise of peace. the timeline lines up and why else would God provide the exact number of days with so much specific detail if He didnt want us to know? Christ said in the days immediately after the tribulation the sky darken and we would see Him coming in the sky. he telling us when Hes coming. It will be soon

    @ Anonymous On July 11, 2013 at 9:39 PM,

That was a RELIGIOUS FACILITY Obama was standing in; NOT THE HOLY PLACE; which is the new rebuilt TEMPLE that hasn't been rebuilt yet, but THE TEMPLE has been PRE-FAB and ready to be built - Netanyahu is waiting on the okay by the Globalist Elites who are the "MANY" in Daniel 9:27!!! And when this does happen you had better PERK UP and PAY ATTENTION because that is where the Antichrist will make his debut on the World scene!!! II Thessalonians 2:3-4

3 Let no one deceive or beguile you in any way, for that day will not come except the apostasy comes first [unless the predicted great falling away of those who have professed to be Christians has come - THIS IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW IN OUR GOVERNMENTS - FALLING AWAY FROM OUR CHRISTIAN HERITAGE], and the man of lawlessness (The Antichrist) is revealed, who is the son of doom (the son of perdition),

4 Who opposes and exalts himself (The Antichrist) so proudly and insolently against and over all that is called God (or CHRISTIAN) or that is worshiped, [even to his actually] taking his seat in the TEMPLE of God, proclaiming that he himself is God.

    WAKE UP CHURCH!!!

Dewey assumes that it is 120 fifty year cycles, but the Scriptures tell us that the fiftieth year is the first year of the next seven years, not an additional year. Joseph Dumond at www.sightemoon.com has the whole timeline written out, with the genealogies throughout the Old Testament taken from the Scriptures and in a chart form. 1996 began the last week, with the 70 weeks starting at the command at the burning bush to Moses to go and restore Jerusalem (which was taken over by the Jebusites) and to build. The Hebrew word meaning to go out means to go out East. It is only after you see the timeline, which was there from the beginning, that you find that 2044 is the last. However, we know it will be shortened. In the midst of the week is 2020. 1967 doesn't mean anything in regards to when this timeline starts and ends, but 1967 was a shabbat year.
