Where then, was the first man placed? In Paradise certainly, as the scripture declares “And God planted a garden (paradisum) eastward in Eden, and there He placed the man whom He had formed.”
And then afterwards when man proved disobedient, he was cast out thence into this world.
Wherefore also the elders who were disciples of the apostles tell us that those who were translated were transferred to that place (for paradise has been prepared for righteous men, such as have the Spirit; in which place also Paul the apostle, when he was caught up, heard words which are unspeakable as regards us in our present condition), and that there shall they who have been translated remain until the consummation of all things, as a prelude to immortality. (Against Heresies, Chapter 5, Book 5)

Adam and Eve were created from the dust of the earth, but God took them from the earth and placed them in Paradise; A place in the spiritual realm. When Man fell, he was taken from paradise, and placed on the earth.

Luke 23:43 - And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

II Corinthians 12:4 - How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Revelation 2:7 - He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Revelation 21:2 - And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

Genesis 3:24 - So he drove out the man; (Drove = to cast out, Divorce)

Ezekiel 28:13 - Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God;

Ezekiel 28:17 - I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.

Revelation 12:13 - And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man [child].

Throughout the account of Genesis, God MADE (Asah) the firmament, God MADE the luminaries, God MADE the beast of the earth. “Asah” means to fashion something out of nothing.

Hebrews 11:3 - Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

However, after God “Asah” all these things, He CREATED (Bara) Man.

“Bara” means to cut, shape and form something out of something that already exists.

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 2:7 - And the LORD God formed man [of] the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Adam already had a body, but it was a glorified one. It was as scripture teaches “In the image and likeness of God.”

Genesis 2:23 - And Adam said, This [is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Notice that Adam did not mention blood, because there was none!

Leviticus 17:11 - For the life of the flesh [is] in the blood

Luke 24:39 - Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Again, Blood is not mentioned. Jesus was not merely a spirit, but had a glorified body. A body of substance, which did not include blood. Blood is only necessary for the flesh.

Once man fell and was taken from Paradise, and placed on the earth, he was in need of earthly clothing; A covering for this world.

Genesis 3:21 - Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make (Asah) coats of skins, and clothed them.

Again, we see the word “Asah” which means to create something out of nothing.

A popular belief is that God took the skins of animals and clothed Adam, but for this to be true, scripture would have said “Bara”. Instead, God made a new type of covering for Adam (skin) which included blood.

I Corinthians 15:50 - Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

Flesh and Blood cannot enter the kingdom of God. You must have a glorified body, Spirit and soul.

Matthew 8:22 - But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

The unsaved are considered dead. They do not have the life of God in them (Spirit of God).

Romans 8:11 - But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Once His spirit dwells in you, it is that same spirit that will give life to your flesh when He returns. Not a life of corruptible flesh, but of a glorified, incorruptible body.

I Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

I Corinthians 15:49 - And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

We now have a body of flesh and blood, but we will one day once again be in the image and likeness of our Lord who created us.

The flesh cannot inherit, but it is inherited. The bride cannot wed, she is wedded. When the bridegroom comes and takes her, the flesh cannot possess the kingdom of God by inheritance; but it can be taken for an inheritance into the kingdom of God.
The first life is given by breath, the second life is given by spirit.

In Genesis, Gods creation was blessed. In Revelation, it is cursed in the same order:

In Genesis 1:4, God separated the light from the darkness (The atmosphere of the earth, from outer space). In Revelation 8:7, Hail and fire mingled with blood are cast to the earth. (Rev. 12:4 & 9)

This “separation” of our atmosphere from the spirit realm will have been severed.

Genesis 1:8 - And God called the firmament Heaven.

Genesis 1:10 - And God called the dry [land] Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that [it was] good.
Revelation 8:8 - And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
Revelation 8:10 - And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Genesis 1:16 - And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: [he made] the stars also.
Revelation 8:12 - And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Genesis 1:20 - And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl [that] may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Revelation 9:3 - And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Genesis 1:27 - So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Revelation 9:15 - And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Genesis 2:2 - And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
Revelation 10:7 - But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

1 Response to "Flesh & Bone"

    Brother,

    Indeed, flesh and bone can not inherit the kingdom of God. But what about the nature of this glorified and substantial (physical) body? I think Bible has some clues about this nature. Paul said that our bodies will be transformed in blink of an eye, I ask: into what? If we look to the visions of Ezekiel and the description of Jesus in the book of Revelations, and also to the visions of Daniel, we will see that the glorified body is connected to something like bright metal, in some cases like fire and bright metal, and in som cases like precious stones. We have experienced here in Brazil, and I believe this has happened there in USA, a manifestation of the Holy Spirit of God where little pieces of something like gold and silver appears in our flesh bodies. As I am a cientist, when this happened to me I went to the science lab of the University, and I took the microscope and put my hands below the lens, and I perceived that this kind of metal flows from the inner side of my fingers, through the pores. If you want more details I have photos taken by the microscope, of some pieces that appeared, and I have some photos of my hands where a piece of a digital line were transformed in "gold". I believe it´s gold because the color and bright is similar, but I did not make a chemical test to verify it.
    So, I believe we will be transformed in gold, silver, or precious stones according to the things done in this flesh body. If you want to see the photos send-me an email to lcfb2003@bol.com.br.
    Bless.
